The Children of Hamlin is a science fiction novel set in the Star Trek expanded universe. The book is by Carmen Carter, and takes place in the The Next Generation era.
The Hamlin colony had been attacked some time previously by the alien Choraii. All the adults had been slain and the children kidnapped. Now the Choraii are back, bargaining for precious metals. Captain Picard plans to use the Choraii's needs to get the children back.
